Details of an Internship with EFNE |

EFNE is offering two 12-week temporary assignments for anyone up to the challenge. This internship is about finding and developing a body of knowledge that you are meant to work on. There are some requirements: your interest must also resonant with the purpose of the Entrepreneurship Forum of New England and New Commons (learn about New Commons by clicking here), it must innovate or improve current process or thinking and must be something that you are passionate about and would like to explore deeper in a “thinking and doing” environment.
You are able to follow through on these capabilities:
Document writing – writing up research, forming documents
Entrepreneurial – fast learners, fast adapters, flex-life, show me how they took an idea into reality, persistence, creative, problem solvers.
Project management – get the job done – be creative & flexible
Committed to our cause – absolutely understand our purpose, understand the importance of producing/getting the work done
Inspiring – willing to run to get the job done
Flexible – able to juggle competing demands, deadlines, and/or forces and maintain flow of project
Fun loving
Project areas EFNE is looking to fill:
Entrepreneurship: 21st century leadership skills; change your thinking and change your result; the essence of the Way of the Entrepreneur; fostering sustainable creativity to spur innovation; managing yourself so that you can manage others better; understanding the true meaning, depth and capabilities of your network and then using it. You work with EFNE, a forum for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs, to break through the stereotypes.
Term: This is a 11 -12 week internship. We are seeking those who are passionate about learning and want to develop a body of knowledge. This is an unpaid experience, however, a stipend may be available for those who meet the basic need requirements.
Outcomes: Dependent upon each individual. Ideally, will learn and be engaged in multiple levels and part of the New Commons team, moving forward with our mission. Personal development and achievable outcomes discussed prior an engagement.
We are currently looking for interns to specialize work directly with marketing and/or event coordination. Interns will work directly with our coordinator and be involved in all aspects of the event.
