    “Visionary city maker” of Cornish Associates, developer, socially responsible business person and new urbanist revitalizing downtown Providence.
    Tony Mendez:
    “Connecting people to the economy.” The media entrepreneur from Providence behind PODER radio &other businesses for the growing Hispanic community.
    Ilma Paixao:
    “Cooperative creator of local wealth.” Located in Framingham Mass, Ilma operates a business cooperative in Brazil selling lace and food, which helps to build local economy in small villages using cooperative business practices.
    Brad Waugh:
    “Entrepreneurship -- again and again.” Founder of Watch Hill Partners and serial entrepreneur who recently sold his software company to MasterCard Advisors.
    Gina DiSpirito:
    “Creative place maker”, founder, and creative director of GLAD WORKS, a full service ad agency in Pawtucket RI with a focus on innovative web compositions, marketing, and client communications.
    John Reid:
    “Making the planet sustainable”, founder of Bio-Shelters Inc. of Amherst Mass., a self-contained bio-system producing fish &herbs for 64 NE food markets.
